Wong started documenting spiders and insects in his hometown in Tawau since 2009. He is working with 1StopBorneo Wildlife, a local NGO in documenting and developing conservation projects for interesting wildlife in Sabah. Spiders have been feared and given a bad reputation for centuries but most people do not actually see the significance of spiders. Spiders play an important role in controlling the insect population thus reducing disease outbreak and agricultural damages. Although we have a great diversity of spiders in Malaysia many are still undiscovered as there is lack of study in this field. This talk aims to let you see the wonders of spiders and hopefully learn to love them more.
