
On Friday, 26 September 2025, the members of The Sabah Society stepped into a world of possibilities at the AI Skills Seminar, organised by the Ministry of Human Resources’ TalentCorp. The event offered a rare opportunity to explore the transformative power of artificial intelligence (AI) and its growing impact on both daily life and the workplace.
The day unfolded with energy and curiosity. After an interactive morning session and a networking lunch, participants immersed themselves in tailored workshops designed for different groups, each discovering practical ways to harness AI for their unique needs.
General Public & NGOs- Participants explored Sustainable AI Use, learning how to apply AI thoughtfully and responsibly to create positive, long-term impact within their communities and projects.
Businesses & Entrepreneurs
- Business representatives dived into Effective Prompt Engineering, discovering how to harness AI efficiently to enhance productivity, improve decision-making, and support strategic planning.
Job Seekers
- Aspiring professionals received hands-on guidance on Job Application Preparation, including practical tips for CVs, cover letters, and educational transcripts to stand out in a competitive market.
Students
- The next generation of leaders and innovators gained skills to navigate AI tools effectively, boosting learning, research, and creativity for both academic and future professional pursuits.

The seminar was more than a series of workshops, it was a journey of discovery, reflection, and inspiration. Participants left with a deeper understanding of AI and the confidence to apply these tools responsibly and effectively in their own lives.
The AI MyMahir Roadshow not only promotes public understanding of AI but also opens pathways for training, upskilling, and foundational AI certification, equipping Malaysians with the digital skills needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving economy.
