Dr Elizabeth is an anthropologist who has studied and obtained cultural anthropology degrees from Edinburgh, Manchester and Queensland and is trained in theology from Oxford. She taught anthropology and education in Queensland and Melbourne and then in Heidelberg, Germany. Her PhD thesis was titled “Too Hot, Too Cold, Just Right: Social Relations in a Kadazan Village in Sabah, Malaysia.” Her work in Sabah focuses on the culture of natives as well as the relationships between people in a domestic setting.
