Penang – a world renowned exotic holiday destination – was known, once upon a time, as Pulau Pinang or the “Isle of the Betel Nut”. Listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 2008, this island paradise has no shortage of cultural sights and natural scenery. Nicknamed the Pearl of the Orient, Penang is famous for its sandy beaches, kaleidoscope of cultures and is fondly regarded as the food capital of Malaysia. Join us to explore and discover the heritage and gastronomic delights of Penang! On Day 2, we will be visiting and durian feasts at two Balik Pulau orchards. After that, we will select our own seafood for lunch at a fishing village, then enjoy them cooked at a nearby coffee shop. Breakfasts and dinner of both days will be at local popular eateries. During the evening, the trip offers an opportunity to explore the Penang heritage site and organised activities. On Day 3, it will be the day for us to enjoy the coastal views of Batu Feringghi beaches, and Etopia, the Butterfly and Insect Sanctuary. Last organised event will be a delicious Hanian cuisine lunch at the Batu Ferringhi beach. Estimated land transport : Day 1 : RM 200 / 10 pax (from airport, mee udang and hotel) Day 2 : RM 600 / 10 pax (Balik Pulau) Day 3 : RM 600 / 10 pax ( Etiopa, lunch and hotel. No airport transfer) The above transport is for the road trips. Grab is easily available in Penang for short trips. Note: To confirm booking, RM 100 deposit by 21 June. (which include RM 50 for TSS Admin fee). Full payment need to be made once transport costs are finalised according to numbers of participants by 1 July 2019.
