Dear Members of Sabah Society,
Unfortunately we have not set a date for the AGM as in these difficult and unpredictable times, planning 6 weeks in advance is impossible.
Our first date for the AGM decided by the Committee had to be cancelled due to the lockdown starting in March.
As things were getting back to normal in August and in a monthly committee meeting, we were quite confident to set a date in late October. We were working towards that.
Unfortunately again, due to the recent surge in infections and the new lockdown which is worse that the first, we had to cancel it.
At the moment we cannot see any clarity in the future and to plan for another AGM would be almost impossible.
May I suggest that the present Committee continue till next year when things are more settled before we call for an AGM.
