TSS KK Film Night: Levity – Tues, 21st April 2015

Synopsis: Action comedy screenwriter Ed Solomon switches gears to psychological drama for his feature film directing debut, Levity. Manual Jordan gets released after doing 23 years in prison for accidentally killing a kid during an attempted robbery. He returns to the town where he committed the crime in hopes of seeking salvation and ends up in a community center where he meets pastor Miles Evan, who helps him out with practical matters. Trying to find redemption for his sins, he befriends Adele Easely, a single mother who just happens to be the sister of the boy he shot in the robbery. He also meets a rich teenage girl with a drug problem. Levity premiered at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival.

It’s on the Tuesday, 21st April 2015 at  the Secretariat Office, Damai Plaza. The movie will start at 8.00 pm sharp.

For non-members, a  nominal fee of RM10 will be charged as a one-night membership to The Sabah Society and for current members of the Sabah Society, the usual contribution to the Magic Box will assist in covering costs. At the same time you may check your membership if its updated.
