What is able to be recycled? Only Paper or plastics and metal also? It would be helpful for th ose of us unable to attend Mr Lee’s talk to know. thanks
Hi Wendy,
As far as I know all three sets of items can be recycled, however the emphasis was on plastics of any kind, including plastic bags. I am sure that the basics of Plastic , aluminum, paper and cans will be covered.
Plastic, metal and paper can be recycled.
Also 2nd hand clothing and car batteries.
In Taman Likas Jaya. There is a collection station for recycling set up by a NGO . However it turn out to be a dumpsite for the public. It is counter productive ! It is unfair to the people that stay around the area.! They only man it on saturday. So if public dump what they don;t there at other time. Some kids or adults will scavenge and throw what they don’t want all over the place and sometimes you can see people burning the rubbish there. It is turning the the station into a dumpsite. So, if we going to do it ., do it well not just for the name sake of recycling !!!!!
