Forthcoming Talk – The Bird Life of Maratua Island – Friday 30th October, 2009

Mr. Quentin Phillipps, whose book “The Birds of Borneo” was launched at the 1st Borneo Bird Festival in Sepilok last week, will give a talk on “The Bird Life of Maratua Island”, to The Sabah Society on Friday, 30 October, 2009 as usual at 7:30pm at our Secretariat in Damai, Luyang. Mr. Phillipps also presented a number of talks at the Bird Festival.

Unfortunately I will not be in Malaysia.
Dhaka…not exactly a glamour destination.

Quentin Phillipps is incredibly knowlegeable and a good speaker. He also spells his name with 2 ps as well as 2 ls. Congrats for the new format notifying us of forthcoming talks — it’s great!
