The Sabah Society’s annual Dinner, held at the Grand Ballroom, Pacific Sutera on 16 February 2004, was attended by 280 members and their guest. The Guest of Honor, Tan Sri Musa Hitam, gave an informative and amusing special keynote address entitled ‘The Moderization of Sabah in a Modernizing Malaysia’.
There was also a musical performance by a trio of Sabah society members: soprano Ms Phoon Sook-Peng, violinist Mr Yap Ling and pianist Ms Grace Lee. It was an evening of total fulfillment for the mind, soul and body.
