Recent research on the wood coffins in Sabah has discovered many ancient wood coffin sites, mostly in the eastern region of Sabah. The new galleries which will highlight the local cultures and the history of the Sabah communities.
Firstly, the culture gallery is divided into five segments on padi planting, basket crafts, headdress, music instruments and ‘Mengayau’ or headhunting.
