A meeting will be held soon after the AGM to discuss arrangements and plan the activities so that the final cost can be known. (To give an idea of cost, it is hoped that it will be less than RM1,000. Any non-member who joins on a fill-up basis can expect to pay a lot more.)
You need to prove your fitness to participate in this trip by supplying a medical certificate, and please note that Insurance for emergency evacuation, including by helicopter, is required (this will be arranged for the whole group).
Please register your interest in this trip as soon as possible, and in any case by 20th April, the date of the AGM. When you register, you will be sent the proposed programme.
May 30 and 31 is the grand finale of Kaamatan in KDCA. I never miss this biggest cultural event of Sabah, so is this year. If the Maliau Basin trip is held after May, I will be able to join. Too bad…
