Datuk Mike Steel will be giving The Sabah Society a presentation on the work of the Orang Utans Foundation. The presentation will be held at The Sabah Society Secretariat at No. 46, 1st Floor, Lot 34, Block E, Damai Plaza Phase 4, Luyang, Kota Kinabalu Commencing at 7:30 pm. The Ladies of the Sabah Society successfully reached the summit of Mount Kinabalu at 14:20 on the 24th February, 2010, exactly one century after Lilian Gibbs became the first woman to climb this imposing mountain. Tomorrow (8th Feb) is the last day to catch this display. The Dewan is the Quonset Hut building (tunnel-like roof) at the top end of Australia Place, on a diagonal with Jesselton Hotel. The aforementioned exhibition includes incredible black and white photographs shot by George Woolley, who worked for the British Administration in the very early 1900s.
