2004 Annual Dinner

The Sabah Society’s annual Dinner, held at the Grand Ballroom, Pacific Sutera on 16 February 2004, was attended by 280 members and their guest. The Guest of Honor, Tan Sri Musa Hitam, gave an informative and amusing special keynote address entitled ‘The Moderization of Sabah in a Modernizing Malaysia’.

“Orchids of Borneo -Vol 4″ : Launched

YB Datuk Chong Kah Kiat congratulating the President of The Sabah Society after he officiated the launch of the fourth volume of the society’s 5-volume work, Orchids of Borneo, at Shangri-La’s Tanjung Aru Resort on 9 February 2004. Looking on is Mr Tan Jiew Hoe, the sole sponsor of the publication.
