On Wednesday 11th January 2012 at 7:30 pm, we will be streaming the presentation by Dr Ravi Mandalam on the “Topography of Mount Kinabalu” live on the Internet. This service was initially requested by one of our members from Sarawak, and the committee has decided to give this a try, initially with a presentation by one

On Saturday 22 May, a Farewell Party was held in honour of Puan Zahra Yaacob, the Immediate Past President of The Sabah Society who is leaving Sabah—a State which she called home for the last three decades—for good. The opening of the new Art Exhibition at The Sabah Society Secretariat, featuring Ms. Christianne Goonting’s collection of paintings by various fellow artists, will be opened today, Wednesday, 9th June. The Society continues to be grateful to the Hyatt International Hotel for its sponsorship of the Art Exhibitions, and the artists are very appreciative of The opening of the new Art Exhibition at The Sabah Society Secretariat, featuring the latest work of Dianne Gee, will be opened on Wednesday 10th March.
