Sabah Society is organising a hiking and white water rafting trip to Kiulu on 3rd and 4th September.
The plan is simple: Meet, Have Fun, and Enjoy the hike and fellowship on Saturday. White water rafting or more hiking on Sunday morning is option.

Posted by Peter Pike, on May 5th, 2011% Although many Sabah Society members have already been to Tabin Wildlife Reserve, the Harvest Festival Holiday visit is going to be a trip with a difference: we are going to have two experts, Dr Zainal, veterinary surgeon working for the Borneo Rhino Alliance project to rescue the critically endangered Borneon species from extinction, and Mr Kelvin Kueh, a lecturer from UMS who is a specialist in frogs and other reptiles.

We have planned a very interesting overnight Mesilau Agricultural Trip for the Sabah Society departing KK on Saturday, 26 March, and returning Sunday the 27th.

When you mention the Klias Peninsula, to the west of Beaufort, most people associate it solely with cruises down the Klias river looking for proboscis monkeys and fireflies. Come along on the Sabah Society’s next trip and you’ll discover that this fascinating area has so much more to offer. Led by Wendy Hutton, who recently authored a book Discovering the Wonders of The Klias Peninsula for Sabah Forestry Department, this trip introduces you to the fascinating Nipah Palm islands and mangroves of the mouth of the Padas and areas carpeted by pitcher plants.
