The Sabah Society will be screening ‘Three Came Home’ on Thursday, 10th February at 7:30pm. The film is based on the well-known memoirs by Agnes Newton Keith. The screenplay was written by Nunnally Johnson, and it was directed by Jean Negulesco. The movie was released in February 1950, and stars Claudette Colbert, Patric Knowles and The first event of 2011 is a joint exhibition and presentation by Flanegan Bainon, photographer, and Chong Su Chung, printer. In conjunction with the Kinabalu Biodiversity Expo (2-5 Dec 2010) and Kakakapan id Gayo Ngaran (the return to the mountain by Dusun communities on 3 Dec 2010), the Global Diversity Foundation and our partners, in association with Sabah Parks, will be conducting a series of activities to celebrate the relationship between indigenous peoples and biodiversity. 
The Borneo Bird Festival will be held at the Rainforest Discovery Centre (RDC), Sepilok Sandakan, Sabah. This event will take place from 15 – 17 October 2010. The RDC is a centre for environmental education situate within the famous Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve. For the birding enthusiasts there will be photography competition, the Borneo Bird Race, The final report from the ladies who participated in the climb of Mount Kinabalu marking the Centennial Anniversary of Lillian Gibbs climb is now available online. The annual Murut Festival will take place at the Murut Cultural Centre in Tenom from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th April.
